Terms of Use for Plattr

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Plattr mobile application (the “App”) operated by [Your Company Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Your access to and use of the App is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the App.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the App.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 13 and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

2. Use of AI-Generated Content

Our App uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate menus, recipes, shopping lists, and other suggestions (“Generated Content”) based on the information you provide. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • For Informational Purposes Only: The Generated Content is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional culinary, nutritional, or medical advice.
  • No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any Generated Content. Recipes may contain errors, cooking times may be inaccurate, and nutritional information may be incorrect.
  • CRITICAL – ALLERGY AND DIETARY DISCLAIMER: The AI is a tool, not a certified nutritionist or allergist. You are solely responsible for verifying all ingredients and preparation methods to ensure they meet your and your guests’ specific dietary needs and allergy restrictions. Do not rely solely on the AI’s suggestions for critical health and safety matters. Always double-check ingredient labels and use your own judgment.
  • Disclaimer of Liability: We are not liable for any adverse reactions, including allergic reactions, cooking failures, property damage, or any other harm that may result from your use of or reliance on the Generated Content. Your use of the Generated Content is entirely at your own risk.

3. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for the information, including party details and allergy information (“User Content”), that you post on or through the App. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and reproduce your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App’s services to you.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the App for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Providing false or misleading information.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or otherwise tamper with the App or its AI models.
  • Using the App to generate harmful, obscene, or hateful content.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content and Generated Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of [Your Company Name] and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the [Your Country] and foreign countries. Our trademarks, including the “Plattr” name and logo, may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall [Your Company Name], nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any content obtained from the App, especially AI-Generated Content; and (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes
